Our club strives to embody Rotary’s ethos of “Service Above Self.”

We have a number of on-going club service projects and also support other volunteer efforts in the community.

Operation Pollination recognizes the importance of pollinator habitat both restored and maintained on public and private lands.  Through collaboration and outreach, an interconnected mosaic of pollinator habitat interspersed between public and private land will be developed to stabilize and/or increase populations of pollinator species throughout your project area.

The State College Sunrise Rotary Club and The Corner Room help make Yuletide bright for area children by managing Santa’s Mailbox during this Christmas season. A repurposed U.S. Postal Service mailbox located outside The Corner Room allows children a place to deposit their annual letter to Santa—and get a letter back with a special holiday message from Mr. and Mrs. C! Our club is delighted to get “elf it up” every year between Thanksgiving and mid-December.

Every year, in downtown State College, you’ll see large, personalized banners with hearts celebrating our community. Proceeds from the project will benefit the club’s efforts to support the community and nonprofit organizations across the region.
